I am proud to be a member of the Novato Chamber of Commerce, and I sincerely appreciate everything the Chamber has done for the citizens and businesses of Novato. For a community to thrive, commerce must necessarily thrive. Businesses must generate revenue and tax dollars to keep the local economy healthy, vibrant and sustainable. Public officials and City staff need community support and leadership to help build tomorrow's future. The Novato Chamber of Commerce fills a critical leadership role in the Novato community by advocating legislation and policies that encourage prudent growth while promoting a livable community with economic vitality. I have experienced first-hand that the Chamber promotes Novato both internally and externally to ensure that its residents have the goods, services, and businesses that they deserve within their own community. Through its seminars, forums, Leadership initiatives and fundraising, the Chamber is ensuring that future generations will maintain and thrive in a better, more sustainable Novato.
