SCLTC LEGO Train Holiday Exhibit

November 25, 2008 through January 17, 2009 – The Southern California LEGO Train Club (SCLTC) holds its seventh annual winter show at the San Diego Model Railroad Museum. This winter’s layout features a suspension bridge, city with skyscrapers, large rail yard, interconnecting town areas, and soon will welcome Booty Bay, a pirate cove with numerous vessels. The 15 foot long suspension bridge may be the longest LEGO train bridge ever made and features a 10 foot long, double-decked main span with four tracks tensioned by hidden steel cabling. The yard features engines and cars that have appeared in RAILBRICKS magazine.

Volunteer: The Conductors Are Here!

conductorsThe Conductors, our new docent group, are looking for a few “extra hands” to share the fun and adventure of the wonderful world of railroading. This volunteer crew provides guided tours to the public, educates community and children’s groups, and entertains visiting dignitaries and enthusiasts from around the world.
