Hotel Winselerhof is situated on the edge of the splendid Strijthagerbeek valley. The building, a distinctive country house built in the sixteenth century, now accommodates a marvellous four-star hotel. The building has retained its authenticity, but has at the same time been refurbished to create an extremely comfortable hotel, where the past and the present day meet each other in a very stylish manner. There are 49 luxury rooms and suites grouped around the characteristic inner courtyard. Vaulted ceilings and wooden beams impart these rooms with a unique ambience. On leaving the hotel, you immediately find yourself in the midst of the truly unspoilt nature; the Mondo Verde world park and the indoor ski resort SnowWorld are both within walking distance. Restaurant Pirandello: Italy and Limburg come together at Restaurant Pirandello. This restaurant is justifiably recognised as one of the best Italian restaurants in the Netherlands and beyond. The Italian wines are exquisite, and the wide range of choices available on the menu guarantees an unforgettable dinner. The combination of the original Carrara marble, the special frescos and the marvellous view of the natural landscape of the Province of Limburg render this restaurant nothing less than a jewel.
